The best coffee with cake near the beach. The best price for breakfast. My kid liked the bakon sandwich.

Only had a hot drink as I wasn’t hungry and I wanted to sit on a bench in the sun looking out to sea. I did purchase a ‘suspended (or ‘forward’ drink) at the same time which I wasn’t aware of until reading one of their up front informative boards. All pricing is shown clearly. This is a small unit making food and drink available to people visiting Torre Abbey, the Riviera Centre and/or gardens, and the sea on the other side of the road. When I visited it was still early morning and not ‘full tourist season’ so the whole area wasn’t crowded or busy. This is outdoor seating but in the garden area there are public garden benches and lawn. As ever be aware of seagulls when eating anywhere along the seafront and do not feed them. I found the service to be quick and polite.

My girlfriend and I walk from Paignton along the seafront for a hot drink and mystery biscuits!! Loads of options for food & drink, plenty of vegan options too! Always served with a smile .

I often pop in to Abbey refreshments on a walk around Torquay, it’s a small family run business, the people are so lovely and the coffee is great, you get a free homemade snack with all hot drinks (I often tell myself I’m going to pass on this to save the calories and then hear myself saying ‘rock bun please’ just can’t resist!) I’d definitely recommend them, whether you’re continuing on your walk or want to sit in the green or beach a while.

Came here and got a selection of drinks and ice creams. The 99's were great- beautiful fresh ice cream. It's just a shame they charge extra for sauce on top.

I love this place! My new favourite on my lunch breaks- the best iced coffee ever! Their hot cinnamon buns are to die for too soo many options and the guys who work there are always really friendly :)

Wonderful whippy ice creams that my husband bought while I was holding our dog. He always asks for flakes of which he eats both! Amazing range of food, drinks and ice creams and the service was so good. Really large ice creams - yum! A most fantastic service and unbeknown to us was suspended coffee. We are so impressed that you can buy coffee for those not so fortunate and they can collect a free coffee and a little snack. I can't believe that this cafe owner not only buys into this but also advertises when there is coffee available to all. Ten stars and an amazing service. Thank you so much for opening our eyes to this, the owner doesn't mention it or put any pressure on but my hubbie bought two. Great service.
